Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Permia website, including its pages, concept previews, and forms (together, the “Site”). The Site is operated by Gibran Corbin, doing business as Permia (“Permia,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
The Site is a preview
Permia is a product in development. The Site describes a product direction; it is not a live service. In particular:
- Walkthroughs, example ideas, rule builders, prices, and other interactive previews are illustrations only. They don’t create, host, publish, or protect any app, and they don’t apply any rules or charge any fees.
- Features, timing, pricing, and availability described on the Site may change or may never be offered.
- Nothing on the Site is an offer, a contract for services, or a promise of a future product.
If Permia launches a product or service, it will come with its own terms, which will govern that product.
Using the Site
You may use the Site for your personal, non-commercial information. You agree not to:
- Break the law or anyone’s rights while using the Site.
- Interfere with, overload, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or the systems behind it.
- Copy, collect, or extract the Site’s content in bulk through automated means, except for ordinary search-engine indexing.
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or that you don’t have the right to share.
- Pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your connection to anyone.
Things you send us
If you send us ideas, feedback, or other information (for example through the early updates form), you confirm you have the right to share it. You agree that we may use feedback and suggestions to improve Permia without owing you anything for them. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please don’t send confidential information or trade secrets. Ideas shared with us are not treated as confidential.
Our content and brand
The Site, including its text, design, images, video, and the Permia name and doorway mark, belongs to Permia or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don’t give you any rights to use our name, logo, or brand. You may link to the Site and share it, as long as you don’t suggest we endorse you.
“Wayleave” refers to a separate access-control project in development and is mentioned on the Site to describe the planned product direction.
Links to other sites
The Site may link to or load content from other websites and services. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and policies apply.
No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Permia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some places don’t allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Your responsibility
If your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to their jurisdiction, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Permia develops. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Site after an update, the updated Terms apply.
General
If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a part of these Terms right away, we haven’t given up the right to do so later. These Terms are the full agreement between you and us about the Site.
